I've need using composite shoes for 8 years or more on Drafts, Thoroughbreds and Quarters. I do eventing and my horses have no trouble on grass terrain or dirt. In the winter, I routinely am able to reset the shoes.
The hoofs grow faster, are more healthy and I really have observed that the horses are more comfortable than in steel or even the "harder"' composite shoes.
I have tried them all. Only the Hoot-it has the sizes to fit all my horses.
